Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Twins evened their series with the Giants on Tuesday night, rallying for a 3-2 win at Oracle Park behind another strong outing from Taj Bradley.
Bradley allowed one run on three hits over six innings in what is likely his final start of the season. He struck out six, including his 200th strikeout of the year in the first inning. Bradley finishes the season 12-6 with 205 strikeouts, both career highs.
The Giants led 1-0 until the sixth inning, when Luke Keaschall tripled to tie the game and Brooks Lee followed with an RBI single to give Minnesota the lead. Rookie Walker Jenkins added a solo home run leading off the seventh.
San Francisco scored once in the ninth and put the tying run on base, but Jeff Hoffman struck out the final batter to earn his sixth save.
Minnesota has won two of its last three games. The Twins close out the three-game series this afternoon, with Connor Prielipp scheduled to start. First pitch is set for 2:45 p.m.
