Detroit Lakes , MN (KDLM)-
The ground search for Mahnomen County shooting suspect Ryan Pacheco in and around Callaway has been suspended.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office and White Earth Tribal Police Department say they have exhausted immediate investigative leads in the area.
However, the overall search for Pacheco remains active and ongoing.
Earlier Thursday, authorities issued a public safety alert saying Pacheco is considered armed and dangerous and is believed to be in the Callaway area.
Law enforcement will maintain a smaller presence in the area, and residents are urged to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious to authorities.
If you see Pacheco, do not approach him. Call 911.
