Pelican Rapids Shooting Suspect Arrested

PELICAN RAPIDS (KDLM) – Phoutthasa Prathane, the suspect in a Pelican Rapids shooting who was on the run for several days has been arrested.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says he was arrested in Redwood County following a police chase early, Tuesday, April 12.

Around 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 10 the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a shooting in Pelican Rapids. Phoutthasa Prathane, the suspect involved in the shooting fled when officers arrived.

The victim was transported from the scene and is hospitalized and in stable condition.  Information regarding the circumstances that led up to the shooting have not been released.
