Early voting is underway in Becker County for the November 3 general election.

For the first time in Minnesota, voters can use a new early-voting process to mark their ballots and insert them directly into a ballot counter before Election Day.

Voters can cast their ballots at the Becker County Courthouse, 915 Lake Avenue in Detroit Lakes, Monday through Friday. Early voting continues through Monday, November 2.

In-person absentee voting is also available. Voters complete an absentee ballot application, mark their ballots and return them to an election official. The ballots are sealed in envelopes for review by an absentee ballot board.
