Conservative Law Center Files Complaint Against 16 Minnesota School Districts For Allegedly Violating Title IX

Detroit Lakes , MN (KDLM)- The Upper Midwest Law Center has filed a civil right complaint against 16 Minnesota school districts who they say violate Title IX. They claim these violations against the districts for allowing transgender students to participate in girls sports and use facilities that align with how they identify their gender. They are asking the U.S. Department of Education to investigate as they also claim some districts allow students to change their names and pronouns without their parents knowing about it. The law center is pursuing federal action against the districts and the Minnesota State High School League.
