Sanford Health Detroit Lakes is hosting a flu vaccine event to patients six months and older.
The Sanford Detroit Lakes Clinic on Washington Avenue will hold flu vaccination clinics every Saturday from October 3 through November 7, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged. Bring your insurance card; most insurance plans are accepted.
Adults should wear a shirt with sleeves that can easily be rolled up for the vaccination.
The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians recommend an annual flu vaccine for everyone six months and older, particularly people at higher risk of complications, including pregnant women, older adults and young children.
