Detroit Lakes , MN (KDLM)-
The Frazee Event Center was filled with music, inspiration, and community spirit Friday night as CornerStone: Frazee Community and Youth Project hosted its 4th Annual Arts and Giving Gala.
The event brought together supporters, families, and community members to celebrate the positive impact CornerStone has on local youth and families throughout the year.
Guests enjoyed a meal while being entertained by talented young performers from CornerStone’s School of Rock program. The evening also featured stories highlighting personal growth, creativity, and the opportunities made possible through community support.
CornerStone Director Mackenzie Hamm says she was very pleased with the turnout and grateful for the continued support from the community. She reminds residents that CornerStone welcomes both monetary donations and donations of needed items throughout the year. Frequently needed items include lunch supplies for youth programs and gift cards to local businesses that can help meet last-minute needs for children and families.
The annual gala serves as both a fundraiser and a celebration of the partnerships that help create opportunities, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of young people in the Frazee area.
CornerStone provides programs and services that support local youth and families through education, mentoring, arts, recreation, and community connections.
