Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Timberwolves put on an offensive clinic at Capital One Arena on Sunday, dismantling the Washington Wizards 141-115 in a commanding road victory.

Minnesota seized control early and never looked back, building a lead that ballooned to as many as 37 points during the lopsided affair.

Anthony Edwards led the charge for the Timberwolves, pouring in a game-high 35 points in an efficient performance that showcased his explosive scoring ability. The All-Star guard consistently attacked the basket and knocked down perimeter shots, keeping the Wizards’ defense on its heels throughout the contest.

Julius Randle provided valuable secondary scoring, contributing 22 points to complement Edwards’ offensive outburst. The duo’s one-two punch proved too much for Washington to handle, as Minnesota’s balanced attack overwhelmed the home team from start to finish.

With the victory, the Timberwolves improved their record to 23-13, solidifying their position in the competitive Western Conference standings. The win continues Minnesota’s strong form as they navigate the midseason stretch.

The Timberwolves will look to build on this momentum when they return home to face the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.
