PERHAM (KDLM) – Perham Boys and Girls Club and Empowering Kids programs hope to raise $50,000 on Giving Hearts Day.
Giving Hearts Day, February 11th, is a 24-hour online fundraising event hosted by Dakota Medical Foundation and the Impact Foundation offering matching funds to participating charities.
Christi Stoll, Empowering Kids, said money raised will help purchase equipment for programming at their renovated space in the old Perham High School. Stoll invites people and organizations to promote Giving Hearts Day by “Painting the Town Red” with signage and decorations and asking employees to wear red. Groups are also hosting a coloring contest.
