Two Minnesota Musicians Added to WE Fest 2027 Lineup

Two Minnesota musicians who have gained national attention are joining the WE Fest 2027 lineup in Detroit Lakes.

Chris Tungseth of Fergus Falls, a Top 5 finalist on American Idol, and 14 year-old Brooklyn Marie of Alexandria, a contestant on NBC’s The Voice, will perform at next summer’s festival. According to WE Fest organizers, she will be the youngest performer in the festival’s history. 

WE Fest owner Matt Mithun says the festival’s four stages provide opportunities for emerging artists to perform alongside some of country music’s biggest names. Taylor Swift show-cased her talent here when she was just 18.

The 2027 lineup also includes headliners Tim McGraw, The Red Clay Strays and Riley Green, along with Dustin Lynch, Russell Dickerson, Midland and others.

WE Fest is scheduled for August 4-7th at the Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes.
