Detroit Lakes , MN (KDLM)-

The 2026 Becker County Fair runs Wednesday, July 29, through Saturday, August 1, at the Fairgrounds in Detroit Lakes, featuring four days of exhibits, entertainment, and family activities.

Admission to the fair is free, with parking available on the grounds for five dollars.

The fair features 4-H exhibits and livestock judging throughout the week. Visitors can also enjoy Open Class exhibits, including flowers, horticulture, arts and crafts, photography, food preserves, and more.

The Red, White and Bloom flower planter contest celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday is also part of this year’s event.

Fair Secretary-Treasurer Karla Lindquist says she’s looking forward to another successful fair despite the warm forecast.

“We’ve made some improvements and we can’t wait to show them off. This is good family fun. There’s something for everyone.”

Wojo’s Rodeo takes place Wednesday and Thursday evenings, while the Demo Derby is scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Friday is Kids Day, with plenty of fun under the tent and Saturday’s Family Day begins with a tractor parade starting at 8 am.
