A sweet treat can help support children’s health this Thursday as the Dairy Queen on McKinley Avenue in Detroit Lakes joins locations across Minnesota and North Dakota for Miracle Treat Day.
On Thursday, July 30, a portion of the proceeds from Blizzard sales will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network, benefiting Sanford Children’s in Fargo.
The annual fundraiser helps support pediatric care, specialized treatments, and research for children across the region.
Since 1984, Dairy Queen has raised more than $192 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals through Miracle Treat Day and other fundraising campaigns.
The Detroit Lakes Dairy Queen is among participating locations, along with nearby restaurants in Perham and Pelican Rapids.
