Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Wild are mired in a three-game losing streak after falling to the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-2 Sunday night at Grand Casino Arena.

Vladimir Tarasenko gave the home crowd reason to hope, scoring twice in the third period to pull Minnesota within one. But Toronto answered with an empty-net goal in the final minute of regulation to seal the victory and put the game out of reach.

The loss drops the Wild to third place in the Central Division, where they currently sit with 88 points on the season. Minnesota will look to snap the skid on the road Tuesday night when they visit the Chicago Blackhawks.
