DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Lakes Area residents will hit the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots.
In Becker County, all registered voters received a White postcard with updated polling locations and districts, says Mary Henrickson the Becker County Auditor-Treasurer. She says to be mindful as you go to the polls, because redistricting may have changed your polling location.
All of Becker County’s Absentee ballots application submitted on-line or received in the Becker County office by November 4, 2022 have been mailed. If you live in a Mail Ballot precinct and are a registered voter, ballots were mailed October 7th. You can track your ballot at https://mnvotes.sos.state.mn.us/AbsenteeBallotStatus.aspx
If you did not receive your ballot you’re encouraged to contact the Becker County Auditor-Treasurer office at 218-846-7311 immediately.
Polling locations are open Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
You can hear live election coverage on KDLM and the Lakes Area Radio App, Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m. hosted by Joel Koetke and former Becker County Administrator Mike Brethorst with updates from CBS Radio, Bill Werner from the Minnesota News Network, local updates from KDLM News reporters, JT Thaden and Zeke Fuhrman as well as Detroit Lakes Tribune reporter Michael Achterling.
