DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes School District will receive a $1 million gift from Lakeshirts.
The donation will be put towards district construction projects over the next five years.
“A big part of who we are was shaped by our educators, coaches, and community members. Many of them believed in us as much as we did. Giving back to something that has given us so much only makes sense. DL is a great community in which to live, raise a family, and visit, and Mike and I want to help it remain that way,” a press release said.
