BEMIDJI (KDLM) – An Instagram account caused concern in Bemidji, Friday.
Bemidji High School administration became aware of an Instagram account labeled as “BHS.Hit.List”. In a statement to families the School District said, “ISD 31 takes all threats and violent actions seriously and have begun investigating this matter.”
The account was immediately taken down by Instagram and as of Saturday school officials had identified, but not released the name of a student who authored the account. The School District has indicated there is no threat to safety of students or staff, but the matter remains under investigation.
