Detroit Lakes , MN (KDLM)-
Becker County Public Health is asking residents to help identify the community’s most important health needs by participating in the 2026 Community Health Assessment survey.
The assessment, conducted every three years, helps local health organizations identify priorities and determine where resources and efforts should be focused.
Kelsie Tucholke, Public Health Data Analyst with PartnerSHIP 4Health in Becker and Clay Counties, says the survey gives residents an opportunity to share their experiences and concerns. The information collected will help guide future community health improvement plans.
Tucholke says it’s important to hear from people throughout Becker County so the results reflect the needs of the entire community.
Feedback from a previous assessment helped identify a need for greater mental health support and contributed to the introduction of CredibleMind, an online mental health resource available to Becker County residents.
The survey takes about eight to ten minutes to complete and is open through November.
Residents can find the survey through the Becker County Public Health website.
