Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Lynx take the second stop on a four-game road trip Saturday night, visiting the Las Vegas Aces at Michelob ULTRA Arena.
Minnesota comes in as the hottest team in the WNBA, having won 13 of its last 14 games. The Lynx opened the trip Wednesday night with an 85-81 win at Portland, and they beat the Aces 98-87 in Minneapolis just a week ago, on August 8th.
At 28-7, Minnesota holds the best record in the league and has already clinched a playoff berth. The Lynx lead the Western Conference by three games over Golden State and by four over Las Vegas, which sits third in the West at 24-11.
The Aces have been one of the few teams capable of hanging with Minnesota this season and will be looking to avoid a season sweep on their home floor.
After Saturday, the Lynx finish the trip with stops at Golden State on Wednesday, August 19th, and at Washington on Friday, August 21st, before returning home to face the Valkyries on Monday, August 24th.
Tipoff Saturday is set for 7:00 p.m. central time.
