Sanford Health Opens MRI Services in Detroit Lakes

Sanford Health is expanding its imaging services in Detroit Lakes with the opening of a new outpatient MRI location.

Beginning Wednesday, July 22, patients will be able to receive MRI exams at Sanford MRI Services, formerly Community MRI, on Washington Avenue. The new facility will offer a wide range of imaging services, including scans of the brain, spine, bones and joints, chest, abdomen, and pelvis.

Breanna Adams, Sanford Detroit Lakes’ senior director of clinic operations, says the new location will make it easier for patients throughout the lakes area to receive specialty imaging close to home without traveling to other communities.

Sanford Health will celebrate the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 29. The event is open to the public.
