Detroit Lakes , MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Lynx are looking to make it three straight wins tonight when they host the Phoenix Mercury at Target Center.
Minnesota enters the game on a two-game winning streak, following a 90-85 win over the New York Liberty at home on Saturday and an 86-80 road win over the Connecticut Sun before that. The Lynx currently sit at 17-6 on the season, the best record in the WNBA.
The Mercury have had a tougher go of it, sitting near the bottom of the Western Conference at 8-16.
The two teams have already met once this season, with the Lynx routing the Mercury 111-77 on the road in Phoenix on June 1st.
Tonight’s game tips off at Target Center at 8:00 p.m. The Lynx will stay home for their next matchup as well, hosting the Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday.
