Pelican Rapids, MN – An 18-year-old from Moorhead was flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo after falling off a golf cart on the 4th of July.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office took a report of an injury accident east of Pelican Rapids, near Lake Lida, at around 8:54 p.m. Saturday. Deputies found that the male party was riding on the back of the golf cart when he fell off and sustained injuries to his head. He was flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo by Life Link III.
The driver, 18-year-old Brandon Lau of Moorhead, was issued a citation for underage drinking and driving.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Pelican Rapids Police Department, Ringdahl Ambulance, and Life Link III.
