Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins dropped the finale of their four-game series with the Chicago White Sox on Thursday, falling 6-2 at Rate Field in Chicago.
The White Sox put up four runs in the bottom of the third inning, and the Twins were unable to climb back. Victor Caratini and Ryan Kreidler each drove in a run.
Starter Simeon Woods Richardson took the loss and fell to 0-7 on the season. He allowed five runs on five hits over 2 2/3 innings.
The loss leaves Minnesota in third place in the AL Central at 27-30.
The Twins open a three-game set at Pittsburgh on Friday night, with Taj Bradley scheduled to start against the Pirates.
