Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Wild closed out their 2025-26 regular season on a winning note Tuesday night, defeating the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 at Grand Casino Arena.
Goaltender Jesper Wallstedt turned aside 35 of 37 shots to earn first-star honors in the victory. Danila Yurov, Hunter Haight, and Robby Fabbri each found the back of the net for Minnesota, with Fabbri scoring what proved to be the game-winner.
The win gives the Wild a final record of 46-24 and 104 points on the season, good for third place in the Central Division.
Minnesota’s attention now shifts to the postseason, where the Wild will face Dallas Stars in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Dallas holds home-ice advantage in the series. The playoffs are set to begin on Saturday, April 18th, though a date and time for Game 1 has not yet been announced.
It will be the third playoff meeting between the two clubs. Dallas won both previous series, including a first-round matchup in 2023.
