
Perham, MN – A semi driver was hospitalized after a crash with a pickup truck near Perham Wednesday morning.
State troopers say that just before 7 a.m., the semi was on County Road 80, attempting to cross onto eastbound Highway 10, and the pickup was heading west on Highway 10 when they collided.
The semi driver, 64-year-old Joseph Balcer of New York Mills, was brought to Perham Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The pickup driver from Badger was not hurt.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Perham Police, the Perham Fire Department, and Perham Ambulance.
