Detroit Lakes, Minn. (KDLM) – 13-year-old Dawson Seelhammer of Deer Creek won the Minnesota Conservation Officer Association’s 2023 Game Warden Foundation drawing contest.
Seelhammer’s drawing will become part of the official logo for the Fish Cops For Kids program.
The colored pencil drawing features a man casting a fishing line though an outline of the state of Minnesota and hooking a walleye on the other side of the picture.
