Laker Girls Golf Victorious at St. Cloud; Four Lakers Finish In The Top Ten

St. Cloud, Minn (KDLM) – The Laker Girls Golf team continues to roll, winning the St. Cloud Country Club Invite on Thursday.

The Lakers placed four golfers in the top ten with Laura Syltie finishing second overall with an 82 and Hanna Knoop placing third with an 83. Sydney Miller tied for sixth with an 86, and Tatum Gatheridge tied for ninth with an 88.

Sophie Christianson tied for 12th with an 89 and Maddie McDougall tied for 18th place with a 93.

The Lakers won the 13-team meet by four strokes over Benilde-St. Margaret’s. BSM’s Alyssa Raguveer won medalist honors by carding a 77.

Laker Girls Golf has three meets in four days beginning on Friday afternoon at Headwaters Golf Course in Park Rapids for a subsection meet. The Lakers will then golf The Vintage in Staples on Saturday before the MidState Conference meet back in Park Rapids on Monday.
