PERHAM, Minn. — A 16-year-old girl was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night near the intersection of West Coney Street and County Highway 34 just outside the Perham city limits, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the crash was reported at about 8:58 p.m. on May 20. Deputies, along with the Perham Police Department and Perham Ambulance, responded to the scene.
Investigators determined the teen was driving a Subaru Ascent and failed to yield while turning left onto Coney Street from County Highway 34. The vehicle collided with a Dodge Magnum driven by a 53-year-old Perham man who was traveling eastbound on Coney Street.
The teen driver was taken by Perham Ambulance to Perham Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff’s office said the juvenile driver was cited for violation of an instructional permit.
