Health Resource’s Mother-Daughter Brunch is April 29th at Castaway Club

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – Health Resources of Detroit Lakes will hold its annual Mother-Daughter Brunch at Castaway Club on Saturday, April 29th from 9:30-12:00.

This event is open to all ages. All children’s tickets include a DIY Mother’s Day craft. Professional photography will be available by appointment (call 218-844-8822 to reserve your time slot) for multi-generational and mommy & me photos.

Karen Thorpe will be this year’s keynote speaker and will share her personal story of loss, hope, and finding purpose in adversity.

Health Resources are also looking for some volunteers to help at the event including work crew members to help set up and clean up after the brunch, decorating team, and help with photo registration.

Tickets for the event are $20 for attendees 12 years old and up, $10 for ages 3-10, and attendees age two and under are free. All proceeds from the event benefit Health Resource’s mission of coming alongside families providing services and support to help remove the barriers they face so they are empowered to make life-affirming choices and be equipped to thrive as parents and in life.
