
Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The City of Detroit Lakes has declared a snow emergency will be in effect Wednesday, April 5th beginning at 12:01 am.
During this time, there is no parking allowed on any city streets until the street has been completely cleared.
The City reminds residents to plan accordingly.
Landlords, please work with your tenants who may be parking on the street for alternative parking.
During a snow emergency, parking regulations will be enforced, and towing may occur. The cost and expense of towing and impounding are the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning until 7:00 am on Thursday, April 6th. The NWS is predicting 50 mph winds and 4 to 10 inches of snow.
