DL Jaycees Annual Stagette Is February 4th

Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Detroit Lakes Jaycees will host their annual Stagette Fundraiser on February 4th at the Historic Holmes Theatre from 6:30-11:30. 

The Stagette, usually held in October, was bumped back to January this year and is a women-only event to raise money for the DL Jaycees. Raffles and giveaways include gift baskets, purses, guns, Twins tickets, and more.

In addition to helping fund events such as the annual Northwest Water Carnival throughout the year, the Jaycees will also give a portion of the night’s profits to other non-profits in the area.

“We are planning on putting some of the profits from some of the specific games that night right back into the community,” said Jaycee member Carly Kouhot. “We are looking into some Young Life programs, as well as the Marshmallow Foundation.”

Another event the Stagette will help fund is the DL Jaycees Glow Night at PolarFest next month.

“We will be back at Polar Fest with Glow Night outside of the Pavillion on February 15th,” said Kouhot. “It will be a fun night for the kids with games, projects, and lots of glowing items. We’ll have hot chocolate and cider that night, too.”
