DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The United Way of Becker County has announced the hiring of Terry Haus to serve as the organization’s Executive Director.
Current Executive Director, LuAnn Porter announced her retirement after 32 years of service last week.
Haus and his family have lived in Becker County for almost 20 years, he has served on numerous local committees, worked for a local non-profit, served as a Detroit Lakes Chamber Ambassador, been a member of the Detroit Lakes Breakfast Rotary and served on the United Way of Becker County Board of Directors and is a past president of that board.
Haus will take over as the Executive Director at the end of December.
