PARK RAPIDS, MN (KDLM) – A Park Rapids woman suffered a life-threatening head injury after an apparent hit-and-run as she was walking along Highway 34 on Friday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that 41-year-old Alice Blue Thunder was walking on Highway 34 about three miles east of town when she was hit by an unidentified vehicle. She was found around 9:45 p.m. laying half in the traffic lane on the north side of the highway.
Blue Thunder was flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
The State Patrol said they do not know what type of vehicle hit Blue Thunder and have no suspects.
