DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Boys and Girls Club of Detroit Lakes will be recognized at this year’s Boy’s and Girls Club Midwest Leadership Conference.
Executive Director Pat Petermann has been invited to be this year’s keynote speaker, “Our National representative out of Chicago was down here in May and he had not been to the club yet in Detroit Lakes or Perham and he was so impressed…he couldn’t believe this size community could raise this size of dollars”.
Pat Petermann will speak to a group of several thousand in October in Cincinnati on the topic of “small town, big success”.
“It feels good and it gives us an opportunity to talk about our community as a whole and the great support we get.”
