ST. PAUL (KDLM/MNN) – Pro-life advocates are hammering Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison for issuing a “consumer alert” on crisis pregnancy centers.
Ellison says many claim to offer comprehensive health care, “but all they’re there to do is to try to convince you to carry the pregnancy to term.”
Paul Stark with Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life says crisis pregnancy centers provide practical assistance and support for women in need, plus alternatives to abortion, “and yet the attorney general, Keith Ellison, is trying to warn people away from them,” said Stark. “The attorney general is effectively acting like an advocate for the abortion industry.”
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison issued the consumer alert Tuesday.
