DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The annual Detroit Lakes Peach Sale begins, Friday in support of the Detroit Lakes Breakfast Rotary.
The event which has been going on for more than 20 years in Detroit Lakes helps fund Detroit Lakes’ Breakfast Rotary community projects.
A full lug of peaches will sell this year for $39 or a half lug for $23, “The cool thing about these peaches which makes them stand out and above a lot of other peaches is they’re tree ripened in Washington, ” said Kathy Michaelson one of the event organizers.
Peaches will be on sale Friday, Aug. 19 12-8 p.m. through Saturday, Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Nereson’s parking lot.
