FERGUS FALLS (KDLM) – The Minnesota State Court of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) have selected the Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity (FFAHFH) as the recipient of their fundraised grant for the upcoming summer of 2022 home builds on Lenore Way in Fergus Falls.

In Minnesota, The Catholic Daughters of the Americas conduct a Gummi Bear drive every year in order to raise funds for an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. This will now be the third time in which they have chosen to work with the Fergus Falls Affiliate over a span of 15 years, providing thousands of dollars to help build affordable homes for those in need within the community.

The two new homes will be built on Lenore Way on the northeast side of Fergus Falls. FFAHFH is currently searching for families interested in owning a Habitat Home. For more information about the FFAHFH mission, becoming a Habitat homeowner, or partnering as a volunteer or donor, you’re asked to visit www.ffhabitat.org.
