ST. PAUL (KDLM) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation may name one of their snowplows after the late Betty White.
MnDOT for the second straight year has asked the public to help name plows.
Nearly 11,000 names were submitted to MnDOT, who have now narrowed the list down to 50 finalists including Betty Whiteout, Skol Plow, and Blizzard of Oz.
Residents can vote for their favorites on the MnDOT website through January 26. MnDOT plans to announce the winners in early February.
Last year, winning snowplow names included Plow Bunyan, Snowbi Wan Kenobi and Plowy McPlowface.
