MnDOT to Host Virtual Public Meeting for 2023 project on Highway 34 from County Road 29 to west of Osage

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is inviting the public to a virtual meeting to learn more about the 2023 resurfacing project on Highway 34 from County Road 29 to west of Osage.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 5:30 p.m. with a formal presentation by MnDOT followed by time for questions.

The reconstruction project on Highway 34 is currently scheduled for construction in 2023, and will address pavement concerns, selective tree logging in the right of way, culvert replacements and a bridge replacement at the Shell River.
