DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Lakes Police and Lake Park Police joined forces this week to help celebrate Christmas with Lakes Area youth.
‘Shop with a Cop’, an event that helps foster positive relationships between youth and officers allowed several children to pick out toys, gifts and clothes to make their Christmas a little brighter.
Each year, Walmart in Detroit Lakes makes a sizeable donation to help with the event.
