DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – Detroit Lakes’ city streets are lined with new holiday decorations.
The city asked local businesses and community members to help sponsor the new snowflake decorations last summer to help replace decorations that were around 30 years old.
Around $35,000 was raised and city linemen installed the LED snowflakes around the city this week. The snowflakes will light up the community through mid-February.
