DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – It has been more than two years since the Historic Holmes Theatre has presented a community theater production. This week, the theatre will offer three performances of “Steel Magnolias”.
An all-female cast will perform the award winning comedy-drama about the bond among a group of women Thursday and Friday at 7:30pm and again on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 2pm. Kim Betcher with the Detroit Lakes Community & Cultural Center says this show will bring you to tears, “If you’ve seen it before, you’ll know to pack kleenex, but if you haven’t pack your kleenex.”
Tickets for the event are $15 for adults, $7.50 for students, and can be purchased at the Holmes Theatre Box Office or online at the DLCCC.org
