DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The minimum security jail building in Detroit Lakes has been sold to a Lakeshirts entity known as Jailhouse Properties LLC.
Recovery Community Resources had planned to buy the building and convert it into a women’s treatment center, but was unable to secure the financing needed.
Becker County paid $1.25 million for the building in 2011 and was hoping to get $690,000 for the building on Randolph Road when it was put up for sale in 2019.
Jailhouse Properties paid just $525,000 when the agreement was finalized Thursday
