WADENA (KDLM) – Lakes Area residents are being encouraged to be on the lookout for counterfeit money being passed.
The Wadena Police Department has received several reports of ‘movie money’ being used at area businesses. The money, which looks real has “copy money” printed on the bill and is most often used on television and movie film sets.
If you encounter someone trying to pass off the fake money as real, you’re encouraged to call local law enforcement.
