VERGAS (KDLM) – Looney Daze returns to Vergas this weekend.
The community festival, which runs through Sunday features a 5K run/walk, street fair, wiener dog races and a parade.
“We want to make this weekend a family event, so we’ve got free inflatable games for the kids, a petting zoo, the loon calling contest and it’s just really a lot of fun,” said Sherri Hanson one of the event organizers.
Hanson says there will be a lot of fun for adults too. The Mallrats will perform at the street dance beginning at 8 p.m. on Saturday. A full list of Looney Daze events is available here.
