WE Fest Returns to Detroit Lakes

DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – WE Fest returns to Detroit Lakes officially today.

The Soo Pass Ranch will welcome country music fans back to Detroit Lakes with their official kickoff party tonight beginning at 6:30pm featuring music from Shane Martin, Tripwire, and The Cadillac Three.

Festival goers began arriving in Detroit Lakes and lined up along Highway 59 as early as Sunday waiting to gain access into the grounds.

After a year off, this year’s event will be the first under LiveNation, which bought the festival from Townsquare Media. Matt Mithun WE Fest’s CEO has brought back a number of local employees and made significant upgrades to the facility ahead of this year’s festival including making the general admission area larger and 200 feet closer to the main stage, improved sight lines and additional food options.

This year’s headliners include Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton with special guest MC, Kellie Pickler.
