
WHITE EARTH (KDLM) – White Earth has extended their deadline for COVID-19 Relief Program assistance.
On July 23, 2020, the White Earth Reservation Business Committee (RBC) authorized and established the COVID-19 Relief Program to provide emergency financial assistance to White Earth members who have suffered financial loss due to the pandemic.
In a special meeting Tuesday, the RBC decided to extend the application deadline until January 31, 2021 (postmark date) to receive assistance.
In May 2020, the White Earth Reservation was awarded more than $29 million to in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to assist with White Earth’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
