Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Vikings could be without one of their starting offensive linemen for the rest of the season.
Head coach Kevin O’Connell said Monday that left guard Donovan Jackson tore his meniscus and will need surgery. The injury is expected to sideline Jackson for the remainder of the year.
The loss leaves the Vikings looking for a replacement on the left side of the offensive line.
In other Vikings news, the NFL has suspended referee Adrian Hill for one game. Hill was disciplined for pointing at and yelling at Minnesota linebacker Eric Wilson after Wilson accidentally ran into him during the Vikings’ recent win over the Miami Dolphins.
