Detroit Lakes , MN (KDLM)- The U.S. Department of Justice has filed a judicial misconduct complaint to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, accusing six out of seven Minnesota federal district judges of unethical conduct.
The complaint is from interviews Judges Patrick Schiltz and others did with the New York Times earlier this month. Schlitz was the chief justice for the District of Minnesota last winter.
U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche.
Blanche also explained what Schiltz had said to the New York Times.
Operation Metro Surge happened this past winter, where ICE agents were sent to Minnesota to arrest suspected illegal aliens. There were constant protests in the Twin Cities, and two U.S. citizens died when they tried to confront immigration officers.
