Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Vikings will have Kyler Murray back under center this weekend.
Murray has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and returns as the team’s starting quarterback. He was hurt in the Vikings’ season-opening win over Green Bay and sat out Sunday’s win over Chicago.
Carson Wentz stepped in while Murray was out, and the Vikings won both games.
Murray has seen limited action so far this season. He has played 11 snaps, completing three of five passes for 18 yards with an interception.
Minnesota travels to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.
