Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins cruised to a 12-2 win over the Texas Rangers in Arlington, backed by a balanced offense and a strong outing from starter Zebby Matthews.

Kody Clemens led the way with a three-run homer, and Trevor Larnach also went deep for Minnesota.

Matthews picked up the win, allowing both Texas runs over seven innings of work.

The victory extends the Twins’ winning streak to three games. Minnesota sits third in the AL Central at 35-40.

The Twins are off tonight before facing the Rangers again tomorrow afternoon.
